Description
A disc padlock hides its shackle inside the body, leaving only a few millimetres exposed at the sides. A bolt cutter needs to get its jaws around a shackle, and here there is nothing to get around. The body is stainless throughout, so it suits shutters, warehouse doors and anything that lives in the weather. The disc-detainer mechanism inside has no springs to corrode and is markedly harder to pick than a standard pin tumbler.
